This comes as no surprise, but the academy was looking to increase the number of people who signed up for their programs and became students & e-learners.
They had already turned to Google Ads in order to generate leads, and the results were somewhat positive. But in order to reach the business growth objective they had, something had to change.
After being given access to their Google Ads & Analytics accounts, we quickly realized we could improve on multiple levels, so we agreed and started working the next day.
Our mandate was clear:
Use Google Ads to increase the quantity of leads & lower the cost per acquisition.
1. Build new landing pages
Instead of sending the Google Ads traffic to the website we built landing pages that we could track and optimize through A/B testing.
2. Setup proper tracking & analytics
Fixed tracking issues and configured adequate tracking, including call tracking. This allowed us to know which keywords generated calls and sales.
3. Rebuild the Google Ads campaigns
New campaign structures, new ads, refined keywords, creation of negative keyword lists, and our proven optimization routines.
4. Connect the landing pages with their CRM
Connected the landing pages with their CRM, allowing for leads to be created, tagged, and automatically assigned to a salesperson.
5. Optimization & A/B testing
On top of Google Ads optimization routines, we did multiple A/B tests on landing pages to constantly improve conversion rates.
Within 12 months, we were able to drastically increase sales, the volume of leads per month while at the same time greatly reducing the cost per acquisition.
