In short

An SEO agency improves your business’s place in Google’s organic results, in Google Maps and in AI answers, without paying for every click. Kasvu is an SEO agency based in Montreal: we handle technical SEO, content, local SEO and links for small businesses across Quebec, then measure the leads that work brings in.

Updated:

What business owners tell us

Ranking reports. Not one more customer.

A ranking is only worth something if it brings in customers.

Many small businesses have already paid for SEO. Every month brought a report on keywords, impressions and traffic, without the only line that matters: how many people called or wrote in. We target the searches your buyers make, and we measure the leads they produce.

The report many small businesses receive.

What we often find when we take over a website

Six problems we fix first, because they cancel out everything else.

  • Poorly optimized pages

Titles, copy and tags that don’t clearly say what you do, or where you do it.

  • Websites Google can’t see

Content loaded by JavaScript that Google couldn’t read. The site existed, just not for Google.

  • Few links, or bad ones

No reputable site linked to the business, or dubious links were hurting it.

  • Content with no value

Copy written for search engines that doesn’t help the buyer choose.

  • No Search Console

No one could see how Google read the site, or which searches showed it.

  • The wrong keywords

Pages optimized for terms customers don’t type.

What the engagement includes

What an SEO agency takes on. Everything that gets you found.

Five workstreams run together, because great copy on a site that Google indexes poorly stays invisible.

An annotated service page: each number points to one part of the engagement.

Your accounts, your data, your content: it all stays yours.

Search Console, Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile in your name from day one, with access you can revoke at any time. Content written during the engagement belongs to you.

IncludedTap a component for details.

Your Google profile, your reviews, your directories.

Local SEOGoogle profileReviews

For a business that serves a territory, the lead often starts in Google Maps. We complete and maintain your Google Business Profile, set up a simple way to ask for reviews and respond to them, then make your contact details consistent across local directories.

A website Google reads with ease.

Technical SEOIndexingSpeed

Pages Google has overlooked, slow loading, duplicate URLs, missing tags, mobile display, structured data: we fix whatever keeps Google from understanding your site.

Pages that answer your customers’ searches.

KeywordsCopywritingService pages

We start from the words your customers actually type, service by service and city by city, then write or rework the pages that answer them. Each one has a clear job: get people to call, or get them to write. You can review and approve every piece if you wish, or leave it all to us. Versions of your pages are archived throughout the engagement.

Links chosen one by one.

Link profileTargeted links

We clean up your link profile, both what helps you and what hurts you, then earn a few links when needed from sites chosen for your trade or your region, such as an industry directory. No bulk link acquisition: hundreds of worthless links expose a site to Google’s spam policies.

Not included

What the engagement doesn’t include

  • Managing your social media. We don’t post on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn for you.
  • Redesigning your website. We work with the site you have. If it’s truly holding back your results, we’ll tell you.
  • A ranking guarantee.Google alone decides the order of its results; promising first place means promising something no one controls.

Local SEO

What is local SEO, and why does it matter so much for a small business?

Local SEO, also called local search optimization, makes your business show up when someone searches for your service near them, in Google Maps. That’s often where the call is decided.

  1. Relevance: what your profile and your pages say.
  2. Distance: between your address and the person searching.
  3. Prominence: your reviews, mentions and links.

According to Google, local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. Distance can’t be worked on; the rest can. Google also states that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.

Across Quebec, in French or English

We work with small businesses across Quebec. Local SEO targets the territory you actually serve: a neighbourhood, a city or a region. If you serve several cities, each one is named where it makes sense, without multiplying near-identical pages. If your customers are bilingual, your profile and your pages should be too. Our guide to local SEO and your Google Business Profile covers every setting.

AI answers

How do you get cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers?

No agency can promise you that an AI will cite your business. What we can do is give it good reasons to.

An AI cites the sources that say the same thing, clearly.

Google states that there are no additional requirements or special optimizations needed to appear in its AI Overviews or AI Mode: the fundamentals come first.

Want the same rigour for your website? Let’s talk

How we measure

How many leads did SEO bring you this month?

Your SEO agency should be able to answer that. We do, using your own accounts.

Example for one month: clicks from Google Search, forms and calls from those visitors, then the searches that brought clicks.

Search Console and Google Analytics, linked in your name and read together, for one month. An example, not a forecast.
What we connect, and rankings

We connect your Search Console and your Google Analytics, in your name, to measure two things: visits from Google Search and the leads those visitors generate. Forms are easy to measure; calls, wherever they can be tracked.

Rankings? We look at them, but they aren’t our main measure: they change with the location, the device and the moment of the search. Instead, Search Console shows the real searches that made your site appear.

Let’s talk about your SEO

After the lead comes in

A lead comes in. No one lets it go cold.

This is often where an SEO agency’s work stops. These tools are part of our approach to digital marketing for small businesses.

  1. Automatic follow-ups

Email, text message, an alert to your team or an AI call: every lead gets a next step.

  2. An AI voice agent

It answers, calls back, qualifies and books appointments, based on your business and your tools.

Appointments: access to your calendar required. Automatic callback: depending on your industry.

  3. A qualified lead

Ranked by your criteria: your team knows who to call back first.

How we take care of leads

SEO and Google Ads

SEO or Google Ads: often one, sometimes both.

Quick comparison of Google Ads and SEO

When it startsAs soon as the campaign is liveMore slowly, depending on your starting point
What you pay forEvery click, for as long as the campaign runsThe work, never the click
What staysYour data and what the campaigns have learnedPages, a profile and links that keep working

Google Ads since 2014: our team runs both and tells you honestly where to start.

Where to start?

Ads first

Need leads quickly, in a market that’s already searching for your service? Advertising often comes first, while SEO is built alongside it.

SEO takes a bigger role

Expensive clicks in your industry, or a tight ad budget? Organic search takes a bigger role. And if you’re already advertising, your campaigns reveal which searches produce real customers, which guides the SEO.

The first months

A clear SEO engagement, step by step.

How long each step takes depends on the size of your website and what needs fixing: the proposal spells it out.

  1. Audit and scoping

Your offer, your customers, your territory and your competitors, then an SEO audit of your website, your Google Business Profile and your links. You receive a clear proposal: what, in what order, and what we’ll measure.

  2. Set up measurement

Search Console and Google Analytics connected, with form tracking and, where possible, call tracking. You start from an honest baseline.

  3. Fix what’s blocking

First what keeps Google from finding you, then what can pay off fastest.

  4. Publish, review, adjust

The first content and the first links go live. Every month, we review visits and leads with you, then adjust the plan.

Not ready to call yet? Analyze a page of your website for free: mobile speed measured by Google, and a list of points checked on the page.

SEO in your industry

People don’t search for a roofer, a dental clinic and a law firm the same way.

Frequently asked questions

Cost, timelines, guarantees: your questions about an SEO agency.

How do you choose an SEO agency?

Ask it four questions. Who will actually do the work, and will you be able to talk to those people? Will its reports measure the leads you receive? Will your accounts and your content be in your name? What does the engagement include? A good agency answers clearly.

How much does an SEO agency cost?

The price of an SEO engagement depends mostly on the state of your website, the number of services and cities to cover, the languages and the competition in your industry. Our fees are set out in the proposal, after a first conversation with no commitment. Our guide How much SEO costs in Quebec covers published prices and what makes them vary.

How long does it take to see SEO results?

No one can give you an honest timeline without seeing your website. It depends on the age of your domain, the state of your site and its content, the competition in your industry and on your keywords, and your starting point. Moving up a page that already ranks 31st takes far less effort than climbing from beyond 100th place. After the initial analysis, we tell you what seems realistic for your situation.

Can you guarantee the first page of Google?

No. Google alone decides the order of its results, and it changes that order often. An agency that guarantees a ranking is promising something it doesn’t control. Our commitment covers what we do control: work that is explained every month, and measured in visits and leads in your own accounts.

How do you show up in ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers?

By becoming a clear, reliable source on your own subject. That starts with good SEO: Google says no special optimization is required for its AI Overviews. On top of that come direct answers at the top of each page, precise facts, accurate structured data and identical information everywhere your business is mentioned. Each AI chooses its sources differently: all you can do is put the odds on your side.

Is there a minimum commitment, and what happens if we stop?

Yes: an SEO engagement lasts at least 12 months and is billed monthly. SEO builds slowly, and it takes that long to fix, publish and then see how Google responds. If you stop after that, you keep everything: your Search Console, your Google Analytics, your Google Business Profile and the content written during the engagement, which belongs to you.

Do I need to rebuild my website for SEO?

No, not usually. We work with the site you have: we fix what keeps Google from reading it, and we improve or add the pages that matter. If your site is truly holding back your results, we’ll tell you, and explain why.
